What this Resolves:
- Explanation about simultaneous activations
- How many devices can be used at the same time?
- What does deactivating mean?
- Does deactivating cancel billing?
How to Fix:
Simultaneous Activation
Best Plan Pro intelligently detects how many platforms you use it on. When you purchase a license for BPP, you are purchasing the license to use it on one platform at a time. This means you can have one platform active at a time, but you can activate/deactivate as many times as you'd like to move to a new platform. So if you want to change your platform from Windows 7 laptop to iPad, deactivate on Windows 7 laptop and activate on iPad.
Each license you pay for ensures 2 simultaneous activations. For more than 2 simultaneous activation, purchase increase the quantity at checkout.
Deactivating
If you need to deactivate the device you're on, go to Settings > Software Registration > Deactivate. The intelligent system will automatically allow for another activation. If you forget to deactivate your system (like if you had a loaner computer or used your phone for a case and you won't be using your phone regularly), the system will automatically detect that as well. If the system detects that there are more devices than there should be using your credentials, it will lock your credentials and will let you know that potentially your credentials have been stolen.
Note, that if you deactivate your device's BPP installation, that won't cancel billing. If you want to cancel billing, click here to learn how.
